AKCOME Shines in GENERA 2023 in Spain With Efficient Modules

From February 21 to 23, the Spain International Energy and Environment Exhibition 2023 (GENERA 2023) was grandly opened at IFEMA Exhibition Center in Madrid Spain. AKCOME, together with its efficient series module products AK iPower, AK iTopper and AK iChaser, appeared at booth 10A29, presenting AKCOME’s technological innovation force, brand force and product force to clients globally.

The exhibition was sponsored by reputed European commercial exhibition organizer IFEMA in cooperation with local governmental department IDEA. It was one of the largest and most influential energy and environmental protection exhibitions in Spain and also an excellent platform for international trade and communication of PV products. Franchisers, distributors and manufacturers from all over the world took part in the exhibition, intensively displaying the most frontier technologies and innovative achievements.

As the world leading new energy manufacturer and service provider, AKCOME presented its latest products from three different technological routes - HJT, TOPCon and PERC at the grand meeting, available to satisfy diversified scenario demands of different user groups. The most eye-catching product is the star product of AKCOME, the 700W ultra high power heterojunction module which belongs to AKCOME iPower7.0 efficient series and is a kind of module product featuring high conversion rate, high power and high reliability at the same time. It adopts 66 pieces of 210mm heterojunction cells and applies half-cut and double-glass technology to reach the conversion rate up to 22.54% and power up to 700W, applicable for the application scenarios of large-scale surface power stations.

The second product is iTopper series modules which was highly promoted by AKCOME targeting overseas distributed markets. This black double-glass efficient module is based on efficient TOPCon technology. It adopts 54 pieces of 182mm TOPCon cells which feature small size, light weight, good-looking, flexible and simple installation and can reach the power of 430W and efficiency of 22.02%, available to match roof scenarios for foreign users. The third product is 182 PERC 72 version single-glass iChaser series efficient module, with power up to 560W and efficiency as high as 21.68%, applicable for distributed application scenarios for industrial and commercial businesses and users.

On site of the exhibition, AKCOME presented the lasted PV technologies, efficient module products and whole scenario solutions and attracted high attention from counterparts of various fields and visitors. The elite AKCOME team had discussions with large amounts of attending businessmen and finally reached strategic cooperative relationship with several foreign clients, planning to carry out deep cooperation in PV industry in the future and advancing hand in hand on the path of promoting green energy development.

Spain is the second largest PV market in Europe, with greatly strong PV demand. Its loading capacity in 2022 is 7.5GW, growing 55% compared to last year. Spanish government launched National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) to promote the development of PV market, with the target of realizing renewable energy structural proportion of 42% and accumulated PV loading capacity of 39.2GW by 2030. Driven by the beneficial factors of PV power generation self-use tax exemption and exemption permits to architectural PV projects, etc., the PV market in Spain is flourishing. When the concentrated power station projects developed through Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) continue to take on fast growing tendency, the demand for self-use projects is also considerable.
